Super 30 to impart coaching classes to poor students
Bareilly: Super 30, the educational programme which prepares meritorious candidates from the economically weaker sections for IIT-JEE, will now impart coaching to students in the district. Education officials are busy making preparations for the entrance exam for selection of candidates that will be held at eight places across the state on June 19. Giving details, district inspector of schools (DIoS) Gajendra Kumar said, “The state government has been contemplating about a possible tie-up with ‘Super 30’, a Patna-based coaching institute, to help meritorious students studying in government schools to crack the tough IIT-JEE entrance examination.

Super 30 is the name given to the program.”
According to officials, the entrance examination will be held in two shifts. The morning shift will be held for Class X students while the second shift will be for intermediate candidates.
“For selection of students, the education department has proposed conduct of examinations at 11 centres, including Lucknow, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Jhansi, Kanpur, Agra, Moradabad and Azamgarh on June 19 for which preparations are going on in full swing at chosen nodal centers,” said Kumar.
Candidates can get exam forms from the Government Inter College by paying Rs 50. Last date for submitting application forms is June 15. “It is an effort of the state government to give fair chance to meritorious students hailing from economically weaker sections of society who fail to get good opportunities.”
